Vainava Mahasangam Award (2011)

The Vaishnava Mahasangam, a Vaishnavite devotional organization that has been active in Chennai for over a century, annually honors outstanding authors who contribute to Vaishnavite literature. R.V. Pathy was honored at a ceremony held in Chennai in December 2011, where his book *Manathai Mayakkum Kannan Kathaigal* (Captivating Stories of Lord Krishna) was selected as an outstanding work. Justice Jayachandran and the Melkote Jeeyar honored him by draping a *ponnadai* (ceremonial shawl) around him.

Pavithram Trust Award (2012)

The Pavithram Trust in Chennai selected the book *Manathai Mayakkum Kannan Kathaigal* as an outstanding spiritual book and honored R.V. Pathi with the ‘Best Spiritual Writer’ award. Justice R.S. Ramanathan of the Madras High Court presented the award to R.V. Pathy in the presence of the veteran Tamil writer Mr. Bhagyam Ramasamy. The ceremony took place on March 4, 2012, in Mylapore, Chennai by draping ponnadai* (ceremonial shawl) around him.

Tamil Nadu Kalai Ilakkiya Perumanram Award (2013)

During its 25th-anniversary celebrations, the Tamil Nadu Kalai Ilakkiya Perumanram selected the children’s science literature book *Vaarungal Selvangale Vignani Aagalam* (Come, Children, Let Us Become Scientists) as an outstanding work. R.V. Pathy was honored with the ‘Thavathiru Kundrakudi Adigalar Memorial Award’ at a ceremony held on October 6, 2013, at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan auditorium in Coimbatore. Dr. M. Thirumalai, the then Vice-Chancellor of Tamil University, Thanjavur, presented the award. Mr. Vijaya Velayutham, the proprietor of Vijaya Publications, is seen nearby.

Jaivarmam Trust Award 2013

The Jaivarmam Trust, Coimbatore, honored the author with the ‘Best Writer Award’ in 2013. Veteran film stunt director Mr. Jaguar Thangam presented the award at a ceremony held in Coimbatore on December 27, 2013, in the presence of the Trust’s President, Dr. T. Jayaraj. Mr. J. Veeranathan, proprietor of Essential Publications and a technical writer, is also seen in the photograph. The event took place at the Divyodaya Hall in Coimbatore.

BAPASI Award 2014

Awards for ‘Best Children’s Author’ and ‘Best Author of a Children’s Science Book’ are presented annually at the book fair held in Chennai. On January 10, 2014, during the 36th Book Fair held at the YMCA College of Physical Education campus in Chennai, the author was honored with the ‘Best Author of a Children’s Science Book‘ award. Mr. Rajendran, IAS, Director of Agriculture, Tamil Nadu, presented the award.

Neyveli Book Fair Award 2015

For the past 19 years, the Neyveli Book Fair has been honoring outstanding writers with awards. During the 18th Neyveli Book Fair, at a ceremony held on July 9, 2015, at the NLC Lignite Hall, Mr. Syed Abdul Fathah Khalid (Executive Director – Mines, NLC) presented the ‘Best Writer Award’ in the presence of Mr. S. Sankaranarayanan (Chief General Manager – Finance, NLC).

Manimekalai Mandram Award 2016

During its 58th anniversary celebrations, the Rajapalayam Manimekalai Mandram selected the children’s literary work *Muthalai kugai* (Crocodile Cave) as the Best Children’s Book of 2015. At a ceremony held on the evening of Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the Gandhi Kalaimandram in Rajapalayam, the organization honored the author by presenting a certificate and the title ‘Siruvar Ilakkiya Semmal’ (Luminary of Children’s Literature). Dr. Ku. Ganesan, a recipient of the National Science Award, attended the event as the special guest. The award was presented by ‘Kurinji Chelvar’ Dr. Ko. Ma. Kothandam—a children’s author and recipient of the Bal Sahitya Puraskar—in the presence of Professor Dr. T. Rajaram.

Tiruppur Tamil Sangam Award 2017

The Tiruppur Tamil Sangam selected the children’s science book *Vinveliyil Oru Payanam* (A Journey in Space)—written by the author and published by Vijaya Pathippagam, Coimbatore, in December 2015—as the Best Children’s Book of 2015. On February 7, 2017, at the Tiruppur Book Fair venue, Dr. K. Bhaskaran, Vice-Chancellor of Thanjavur University, presented the award and a shield to honor the author, in the presence of Dr. A. Muruganathan, President of the Tiruppur Tamil Sangam.

Pudukkottai Ilakkiya Peravai Award 2018

The renowned Pudukkottai Ilakkiya Peravai (Pudukkottai Literary Forum) honored the author with the title ‘Ilakkiya Sudar’ (Beacon of Literature) and a medal during a ceremony held in Pudukkottai on December 23, 2018. A total of 29 distinguished individuals were honored at this event. A book titled *Thadaga Thamarai* (Lotuses of the Pond) was published, compiling the biographies of 29 such eminent figures.

Shakti T.K. Krishnasamy Award 2019

The Saidai Mahatma Gandhi Library, located at 88/13 Karaneeswarar Koil Street, Saidapet, Chennai, has been serving the community for the past 67 years. It is run by Gandhian Shri K. Mahalingam (90), who celebrates Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday every year as a grand three-part festival and presents the Shakti T.K. Krishnasamy Award to selected outstanding writers. On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, the award ceremony was held on Sunday, 13 October 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sri Karaneeswarar Sornambigai Marriage Hall on Kulakkarai Street, Saidapet, Chennai. The award was presented to ten writers and distinguished personalities from various fields, including Shri Ravi Tamilvanan, Shri Lena Tamilvanan, Professor Siv. Selvakumar, Dr. Minnur Srinivasan, Shri A. Nagarajan, Shri K.A. Jayachandran, Shri Thi. Va. Meikandan, Shri Karmugilon, Dr. Prema, and Shri R.V. Pathi.

Kalaimagal Prize 2021

The author won first prize from Kaa Sri Sri Memorial Award for Best Short Story conduted by Kalaimagal Magazine.  His short story “Kaalagraham” won first price of Rs.7000.00 in 2021.
